About La Morada the traveller's guides
say:
Lonely Planet Argentina 2005 says: "THE AUTHOR'S CHOICE: La
Morada. Set high above Bariloche on the slopes of Cerro Otto (about 7 km from
town), La Morada is the perfect place to chill out and take in the views -
which are no less than mind-altering. Dorm rooms have four beds in each, all
have great views, and the common area is as welcoming as they come. Arrange
for free transport at "1004", and shop for food before heading out.
Superb."
Let`s Go Chile 2005 says: "La Morada, Cerro Otto, Km 5. Don't try
to find this secluded haven on your own or you may wind up lost halfway up
Cerro Otto. Instead, catch the free 4x4 shuttle from "1004". Once
you arrive, the intimate and immaculate house, the excellent barbecue, and
the views will leave your jaw gaping. The remote location is perfect for
couples and solitude-seekers, but inconvenient for nightlife."
About 1004:
Lonely Planet Argentina 2005 says: "Occupying the 10th-floor
penthouse of the tallest building in Bariloche, 1004 boasts spectacular views
over Lago Nahuel Huapi from the giant living room, complete sofas, fireplace
and big wooden tables. Most of the rooms have the same views and none have
more than four beds. The vibe is very mellow, and there are communal
kitchens. There's no sign; enter the Bariloche Center, take the elevator to
the 10th floor, and look for room 1004."
Let`s Go Chile 2005 says: "Take the elevator and turn right down
the dim corridor. The rooms and kitchen of 1004's top-floor penthouse suite
feel tired, but the view from the balcony is astounding."
American Handbook (Footprint) 2004 says: "Epp., Fantastic views from
this penthouse flat, where there are rooms sleeping 2-3. Fpp., a central and
friendly place, with kitchen facilities, lots of helpful information, English
spoken. Recommended".
